Purpose of Religion

From time immemorial, there has been millions of religion  sprouting in this planet earth. So many wars happened in the name of religion, and still happening. So today if any one speaks about religion is branded "fanatic" by the majority of people around the world. If all those religions of the older time are really fanatic today, the what is the purpose of religion. For knowing this answer we have to see the origin of religion not the present day outlook. Almost all the religions were created by Human. When we say human he or she is just like another person. but what made them to start a religion?. why do they have to start not others?. The answer is a simple thing. "Enlightenment" . Those humans who started those religions were mostly enlightened. what does that mean. The person who is enlightened knows "Who he is!". He evolve from the normal human way of living and go to a higher plane of existence.

What makes them different from us is not the outer appearance, but the inner experience or the state in which they exist. For them there is no mind. there is no thought. its complete silent with no inner conflict. such a person will naturally radiate existential energy which he conserves by saving himself from mind. because on our day to day life, breathing and thinking are the two constant process which we do involuntarily. Of course we need breathing, but why thinking when it is not needed, it should be like a leg or hand which is used only when it is needed, we forget our very nature that, we are a happy being. happiness for ne reason. but since we have the mind we always think of either past or future and worry or excite or over work. we never stay in the present moment without mind.

The religions were started by those enlightened masters to teach us how to attain enlightenment, if you think religion is for anything else, then this is not the site you are looking for. When i say most of the religion, I mean Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism , Taoism, Confucianism, etc . every religion has rituals which are more meaningful to attain enlightenment, even the rituals are made for the same meaning. But time after time, as the country changes, culture changed, ideology change, and at last when the ignorance was justified, the rituals became a mere practice of outward show. and the real meaning behind it was completely replaced by the new meaning , which now looks fanatic.

The purpose of religion is to lead us to become godly being. The purpose of life is to live. Here living means living after attaining enlightenment, before that what we live is not life, but we are just trying to live. In the further posts I will be sharing the knowledge what i know to the people so it makes a better society to seek enlightenment all together.
